It’s seen better days, but I love an Accord hatchback. Lift back? Whatever you call it.

Did someone say Accord Hatchback?

Liftback

Lower it, give it a manual trans, and we got a deal

I think technically that’s more right, but using hatchback finds this car on the interwebs. Hatchback should be more vertical.

That looks almost like a Prius.

That’s how I’ve always defined it.
Hatchbacks are for added cargo room. Liftbacks are for style. Coupes are dumb

It was sold as a hatchback, that’s why - but agree that liftback is more accurate.
My favorite generation of Accord - my mom had an 88 LXi coupe for a long time and it was a great car. Perfect size, reliable, fuel efficient, roomy- and had a little better rust resistance then older Hondas did.

I would say that liftbacks are a subset of hatchbacks.

Probably possible with a donor TL drivetrain.

I can agree with this.

I swear every one of these Accords I’ve seen in my life was blue and had rotted out rear wheel wells.

My dad owns two, neither are blue but they’re definitely rusting.
